- The Changeling- I had been wanting to see this movie since it pretty much came out, then I forgot about it. Then I jumped to record it the moment I saw it showing on cable. Seeing as it was late when I started to watch it, I didn't think that I would watch the whole thing (something I hardly do) in one sitting...but I did! Wow, oh wow... this movie was heart-breaking and unbelievable. Angelina Jolie stars as a single mom who went to work one day, came home, and her son was gone. She called the cops and filed a report. Then they found her son, only it wasn't her son and she kept telling the cops that and everyone who would listen. There were too many discrepancies to even begin to believe that this boy was her son. His looks, his height, his appetite, his schooling, his teeth, his manhood. She had teachers, doctors (her own), dentists, her priest saying they would back her up in saying that this boy was not her son, but the cops would have none of that. Instead, they decided to get their own doctor and make excuses for the boys changes [trauma stuns your growth (so much that you SHRINK 3 inches)]. Then they take her to a psych ward until she accepts that the police was right and that the boy is her son. Every day she refused to sign the form stating so and she was left in there being medicated and was about to be given electric shock therapy, until her priest and some lawyers came just in time to stop it. In another related story, there's this other boy who will be deported to Canada who starts crying at the police station. He then states to the police that he has been a witness to his uncle killing so many kids he lost track, but somewhere around 20 at his ranch chicken coop. He goes into detail of what the uncle did and what the uncle made him do. The police don't believe him at first but then they show the boy pictures and the boy is able to identify most of them being victims. Among one of them is Angelina's son. The police goes to the ranch, tells the boy to start digging since "he buried them, might as well dig them up." So the boy dug and about 5 minutes later, the police started seeing shoes, skulls, body parts. They arrested the uncle in Canada, who went into hiding (at least tried to) at his sister's house, but she called the cops. Angelina was told of the killings and of her son being a victim. This was all based on a true story. So true that the residents of the city of Wineville did not want to be associated with such horror that it changed it's name to Mira Loma. As in Mira Loma in California.that's 24 miles east of where my parents live. I know there have been several movies based in Los Angeles and I love that, but somehow this hit home. It was a very sad, stunning, shocking story and movie. If you haven't seen this movie go see it NOW! I give this movie 5 Daisy-girls, PLUS 5 more.
- The Mysteries of Pittsburgh- I stumbled upon this movie after watching I-forgot-what on the LOGO channel. It had to do with some guy who has a mob dad and has finished school. So before he goes to work as a stock broker, he has an unforgettable Summer. He goes to a party and meets Sienna Miller. She is pretty, well was, because I don't think she is now, still cute though. She is quick to tell him that she has a boyfriend. Before he realizes it, the boyfriend becomes his friend. Soon the three are all hanging out all the time. So much that the guy's girlfriend feels left out and soon dumps him. Oh, and she was also his boss at the school bookstore. Stuff happens and the boyfriend leaves for a while, so the guy and the girlfriend become close. The boyfriend comes back and he is in trouble. Turns out he owes to the dad, but states that he can't buy himself out of the debt. They go to dad and in return the boyfriend is told to defriend (my word by the way) the son and in return he will be free. The son says fuck that and leaves town with the boyfriend, but not before breaking into the house and stealing some jewelry. Of course the silent alarm goes off and dad calls the cops. A chase ensues and the boyfriend climbs some stairs and jumps off the smokestack and dies. The son is arrested, dad bails him out. The son asks dad why he called the cops, dad doesn't want to discuss it and tells him to get in the car. The he orders him to get in the car, then demands he get in the car. The son walks away and in a voice-over says he never saw his dad again that he was going to grand central station to catch the train for his future in stocks. It was a pretty decent movie, I give it 4 Daisy-girls.
Keeping track of movies I've watched on my DVR. Ratings are based on my doggie Daisy-girl.

DVR recorded movie ratings #5
What can I say? The list on my DVR is actually getting
smaller and smaller even though I know I've added movies. Something's not
right, but I'm not going to bother with it for the time being. I've been
thinking about my rating scale and how it's not fair to Daisy that I only use
her name and not some type of icon or something in relation to her. Honestly, I
haven't even bothered trying to make it any different, but it's the thought
that counts (at least for the time being).
- Winter's Bone: Of all places, I recorded this off of Lifetime. I had read articles and such about how Jennifer Lawrence was great in this movie. So I decided to record and watch it. The movie suuuuucks. I don't mean the actual movie, but the whole situation and the characters suck. Jennifer trying to find her drug dealing dad so that he can show up to court because he put the house up for collateral on his bail. The people living in the Ozarks ( which I hope they aren't really like that) who turn their backs to her when she wants information of where her dad may be. The uncle (who has a change of heart after a while). The ladies that beat the shit out of her. The way she finds her dad, thanks to the ladies that beat her earlier in the movie. The whole situation sucked for her. The movie was good. So good, it caught my hubby's interest for at least half of the film, but I think it had to do more with how Jennifer was being treated and her and her family's situation. I don't know what else to really say about this movie, except go see it (unedited and commercial free of course), but don't forget that I warned you of what you are about to see. I give it 4 Daisy-girls.
- X: (aka X:Night of Vengeance). Uhm...wow...ya...wow. First of all, this movie starts out with a naked guy standing in the middle of the room while a lady is talking about his features to a circle of high-class looking women. Okay, let's go back...the movie starts out with a naked guy standing...NAKED! Not as in, oh I see his ass and a lil something. More as in I see his chest, his ass, his cock and his balls.... NAKED! Ok, now that we have gotten that out of the way, the movie doesn't have much else on the guy. It has to do with the girl. High-end call girl who stumbles upon a runaway and asks her if she wants to earn some fast cash by being involved in a threesome. Well, obviously shit goes down and soon enough they are being hunted down by some bad cop who pretty much wants them dead. It's pretty high paced and lots more girl beatings (wayyyyyyyyyyyy more than Winter's Bone). The lady pretty much gets the shit beat out of her multiple times and repeatedly punched in the face (at that point I pointed out to my hubby that she's not even bleeding all that badly except for a minor cut on the corner of her lip). the homeless girl got annoying a few times, but the movie was too fast paced for me to take much interest. I was rooting more for the beaten gal. Ok, so going back to the plot of the movie...hmm, well I already covered that about after the threesome going bad. I would recommend going to see this movie. There is a lot of tits, ass, dick, chi-chis, and more boobs, but the story line is pretty interesting. I give this movie 4 Daisy-girls.
- Things We Lost In The Fire: It stars Halle Barry, Benicio Del Toro and flashback scenes of David Duchovny. Okay, I get that Halle Barry is hot, but WHY must she always look run down in movies? I'm not saying she needs to be sexy and shit in movies, but why dumb down her looks? Will she not be believable as a widow mourning the loss of her husband and a mom trying to keep her kids happy if she were to look hot? *shakes head* Anyway, this movie got 3 stars and I was left wondering why. I mean the movie is not bad or even that bad, but I don't think it deserves 3 our of 4 stars. Basically David (husband) dies and Halle (wife) asks Benicio to move in because he is her hubby's drug addicted best friend. He says no at first but then reconsiders when she tells him that he can have a place to live rent free in return for him (a man) being there and to help her cope with the murder of her husband (which is told in flashback almost toward the end of the movie). Benicio goes through withdrawals, gets hooked again, and again goes through withdrawals. I don't get what SHE was getting out of all this because it seemed to me that she just had an extra kid to take care of seeing as she was cooking, doing laundry...all for him, as if he was a replacement hubby, BUT she wasn't getting any sex out of it. Like I said, the movie was pretty decent, I just don't see why it was given three stars. I'm willing to give it, well shit, like I've mentioned before I don't dare cut Daisy in half, so I'm going to give this movie 3 Daisy-girls ( if I didn't love my Daisy SO much, I wold give this movie 2.5).

DVR Movie Recording reviews #4
I should really start doing these reviews the same day as I watch these movies for two reasons. One, I lose my momentum and emotions when I write about them days later. Two, I forget which movies I have watched when I write about them a week or so later and by then, I have already watched a few other movies and tend to push them a week after. It's a continuous cycle. But, moving on...
- Charlie Wilson's War- We ended up watching this movie by accident. I would see it on the guide from time to time and I knew it had big names attached to it, but it never really grabbed my attention. It's one of those movies that I wouldn't mind seeing, but not actually record it. And oops, yeah, this was not a movie I had recorded, but one I saw after a show had finished on IFC. Anyway, this movie stars Tom Hanks as Charlie Wilson, who is a (of all things, seeing as where we live) Texan congressman who likes to drink hard liquor and is a womanizer. It also stars Julia Roberts (who I feel does not look good at all as a blonde and big hair). Philip Seymour Hoffman was great in this movie. He put up a fight and was such a smart-ass that I loved it. Anyway, it was a political movie, but with a sense of humor. It had to do with how he worked with the CIA in administering weapons to Aghans to fight against the Soviets. See this is one of those movies I saw over a week and I cannot recount certain details, but it was a funny and informative movie. I'm quite sure this movie got some type of award seeing as there are three major names in it. Political, but semi-humorously, I give this movie 4 Daisy-girls.
- Imagine Me & You- Rachel gets married to Heck (uhm, ya... the name?...right?!) and at her wedding she meets the florist (Luce) who decorated the reception. Rachel and Luce hit it off right from the start and soon Rachel sets up Luce with Heck's friend Cooper. Cooper takes a quick liking to Luce and pretty much wants to fuck her, but at a lunch date, she tells him she is gay. That doesn't seem to stop Cooper throughout the movie, until almost the end of the movie. So Rachel and Luce spend a lot of time together and Heck, who has been so busy at work doesn't seem to mind. If anything he feels bad he can't really spend much time with Rachel. After some time, Heck feels as if he is not being a good hubby to Rachel and goes over to talk to Luce about it. He senses there is something wrong with Rachel and hopes that Luce can help him figure out what's going on since Rachel does not seem happy at home. What Heck does not know is that Rachel is in the bad room, with hair all messed up because she and Luce had just finished making out! OOooooh. Soon Heck and Cooper find out and Cooper basically calls Luce a slut for going after a married woman. the thing that was heart breaking for me was when Luce's mom, who has such a big open heart and only wishes the best for her daughter and for Rachel when Rachel went to go talk to her. I loved this movie and I would recommend this movie by giving it 5 Daisy-girls. I'm not really into romantic movies, but at times, there are exceptions.
- The Kid With A Bike- This movie, I'm mixed about. Well the kid makes me angry. I understand there are reasons behind it, but he came off as a little fucker to me and not appreciating what has been given to him. Cyril is an 11 year-old boy who was abandoned by his dad (he doesn't quite know it yet) and was put in a "state- run youth farm" (which looks like a foster home to me). At the beginning he keeps asking about his dad until he is harshly told that his dad left him. He then continues to ask about his bike, that if dad really left, dad would have left the bike for Cyril behind. He runs away and goes back to his apartment he had with dad and keeps kicking and screaming that he wants his bike. The landlord finally lets him in and the bike is nowhere to be found. When Cyril was running away from everyone, he went into a local clinic to hide (but was found) and knocked over a lady, Samantha a local hairdresser, who tells him, "you can hold on, just don't squeeze too hard." Next day, the lady arrives at the "youth farm" and takes Cyril his bike, which he had described earlier, and doesn't even thank her until he is told to do so. He then asks her if he can stay with her on the weekends and she ( not knowing this kid and for some fucken reason) agrees. She does whatever she can do, as far as keeping him happy and teaching him some life values, but the kid is still rude. She even sacrificed her relationship with her boyfriend for Cyril and the kid could care less. They end up finding the dad and go see him at his work. Dad is not thrilled at all. More of why are you here? I don't want to see you. Dad confides in Samantha that he cannot afford Cyril to live with him and that Cyril is basically a burden in his life. She tells him that he has to tell Cyril that and stop leading him on in hopes of reconciling with him once dad settles down. Dad (again harshly) says: I don't want you in my life. I don't want to see you again. Do not come back. The kid could somewhat cares less. He and Samantha go back to their town and he befriends some guy who shows him how to rob people. He is pretty much a drug dealer and stuff. In the end, Cyril (kinda) realizes that he has it going good, living with Rachel and having his bike. If the kid wasn't such an egotistical little bastard who only thinks of himself when people are there for him, I would give this movie a higher rating. As of now, this movie gets 3 Daisy-girls.

DVR movie recording reviews #3
Well, well. I saw these movies about two weeks ago and meant to comment on them, but we were pretty busy last weekend. We ended up going to the Houston Auto Show. Although we aren't big car enthusiasts, it was only 10 bucks and close by. It turned out to be pretty damn cool. There were a few car companies that had test driving, in which you got a gift afterwards. We test drove a Honda Accord and got two $10 gift cards for Target. We then test drove Volkswagon. I drove the Passat and my hubby drove the Beetle. In the end we got two pairs of sunglasses. The rest of the show was good. Not that we are car hunting but it was nice to get a close-up view of cars that we deemed nice or seemed slightly interested in by watching Top Gear or other sources. We also had high hopes for some cars, but it turned out that they weren't as good or nice as we had thought they were. Still love the BMW X5 (hubby says it's big, I said I can really see myself driving that thing), loved the Volkswagon, loved the Honda. But anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, enough about our super-exciting life of non-car enthusiasts, here are three movie reviews:
- Me and Orson Welles: I have never seen a Zack Efron movie (I tried to watch the one about him seeing his younger dead brother, but I got as far as 15 minutes into it and gave up. High School Musical....forget it), but that's not to say that the guy is not cute. He can look hot in some cases. Anyway, this movie is about him being in high school and him getting an acting job in an Orson Welles production of Julius Caesar in 1937. Love the clothes and make-up of that era. It was pretty good. Claire Danes also comes out in it. I don't recall how old she is supposed to be, but I do know that she will do "whatever it takes" for her to meet the right people so she could move up. Zack tries his best in acting to satisfy Orson, but also wants to be true to himself. I don't know much about Orson Welles, but I do know that he comes out in everything he directed, or was it produced? Either way, he is portrayed here as an egotistical bastard that does whatever he can to get his way. Even if it means not giving credit to people who deserve it, or using people just for a grand opening and then firing them after the production is over. I would suggest watching the movie, it was pretty decent.. not at the theater though. I would give this 2.5 Daisy-girls, but since I love my Daisy TOO much and not dare cut her in half, I suggest 3 Daisy-girls.
- The Perfect Family: I had been wanting to see this movie when it came out last year in the theater, but never got a chance. I'm glad I waited. It stars Kathleen Turner as a devoted Catholic mom who is being nominated as "Catholic of the Year" by her church. She is excited about this, but once she is told that her family will be interviewed so they can see how a Catholic's life should be lived, her happiness quickly fades away. She is married and has two adult children, a son and a daughter. Her husband goes on day to day doing his usual routine of going to work and listening to his wife talk about what she did at church. The son, played by Jason Ritter, is married, but leaves his wife to be with a manicurist. And her daughter, played by Emily Deschanel, is a lesbian and engaged, but mom doesn't know that just yet. Mom tries to hide all this from the church and her competition (Sharon Lawrence), who she has known, I think, since high school. It turns out that the more Mom tried to fix, hide, and ignore things, they do not go away. In the end, she ends up writing a letter to her church telling them the truth and they realize that she could in fact by the "Catholic of the Year" based on her being truthful to everyone. It was a good movie...for Lifetime, which is where I saw it on. I would not suggest paying to see this movie. Just like the Auto Show, my expectations seemed a bit high for such a TV-like movie. I give this movie 2 Daisy-girls.
- The Woods: I was flipping through the guide and this movie sounded interesting when I read it. I don't know anyone who comes out in it, except for Patricia Clarkson and Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, which my hubby watches). It turns out that Bruce's daughter Heather burned something down and was taken to a a bad-girl school located in the woods. It turns out that some scary crap happened in the woods years ago and that if you go in there, you will most likely not come back. Has to do with some three girls being called witches and how they had been outcasted by everyone at the school. I think they either ended up killing them, oh yeah, they did with an ax. Well maybe hurting them, but wtf gets hurt with an ax to the head or face? Anyway, back to current time, the bad girl gets called a fire-crotch by the mean girl. Strange stuff happens at night that has to do with fog and tree branches. It's kind of a trippy movie, and they do talk about the axed girls in the woods from the past, so you get the back story to all this that is going on. BUT, it turns out that those girls from the past aren't really dead. No, they are not zombies or anything like that. But it's trippy in a way. Like when Dad and Heather are forced to drink some blood from the headmaster and they both barf and there is either a small branch or a leaf coming out of their mouths. It turns out that the woods really play a BIG part in this movie. If you want to see something different, not scary or gruesome, just mysterious, watch this movie. I give this 3 Daisy-girls.

Continuing with the movie weekend
A-ha! I have returned but once, not twice, but three times to posting in only two days. Thrilling, isn't it? Well at least to me it is. Continuing with my movie viewing from my recordings this weekend, here are two more movies:
- The Extra Man: This movie is a bit strange and sad. It stars Paul Dano, Kevin Kline, John C. Reilly (great in Wreck-It Ralph), and a few others. Paul Dano gets caught at his job trying on a student's bra and is suggested that he move on to another job. So he heads over to New York where he rents a room from Kevin (I thought he was hilarious in this role), who is a gigolo (but don't tell him that) to older woman he can cares less about. He teaches Paul how to sneak into a broadway show and how to pee outside in public by being discreet. Kevin also has these pet peeves about stuff, like no fornicating in the apartment, and how one should not do so unless married, which Paul questions him on, but is quick to ignore the question. Katie Holmes plays his crush, but she finds him to be a bit odd. Oh, then there is John C. Reilly's character who looks like a caveman and has a very horrible (dare I say it?) girl's voice who is going through puberty and an old lady at the same time. Moving on, Paul has had dreams in which he dresses like a transvestite and finds someone who can give him a make-over. Only then does he realize that he doesn't like the way he looks like a girl and decides that he is better off being man. By then Kevin walks in through the door and disapproves of what he sees telling Paul he needs to move out ASAP. Somehow, they reconcile and Paul brings Kevin baubles (which he likes) and Paul doesn't have to move out. If you want to have a couple of chuckles, I recommend this movie 2 Daisy-girls.
- Prosecuting Casey Anthony: This movie made me upset, as I'm sure it did many other people all over again about this case. Besides knowing the obvious ending, I felt that it focused too much on Rob Lowe's attorney character. By the way, can that man ever look bad?!? He is some hot stuff. Anyway, sorry for the distraction, but as I was saying, there wasn't much focus on Casey Anthony or Caylee. I felt that it made me question this whole case all over again and got nowhere. I thought they were going to show them questioning her and catching her in her lies before she was arrested. I wasn't really much into this case as the nation or my best friend was at the time it was happening, but I went to Crime Library and read about it. That girl is such a liar and everything else that goes with it. If you want unsatisfactory results and too much focus on the everyone else besides the person who this movie is named after, go see it. I give it 1 Daisy-girl.
Tracking my watched movies the Daisy-Girl way
You're probably thinking WTF?!?!?!? Two posts back-to-back?!?!? Hells ya my friend (I'm going to say friend because I really feel there is probably only one person who actually looks at this blog and that's not counting me. Seeing as I would probably not be my own friend if there were two of me). But anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyssssss...
Besides keeping a track of this blog, I sure need to keep track of the movies that I watch. Often times after watching a movie, I obsess a bit about it and try to find as much information on it online. Such as a back story, how it came to be, movie information, or actor information. Most of these films are ones that I have recorded from cable. SOOOOoooo, yesterday I decided to sit my ass down and get to watching some of the 15 or so movies I have on the DVR (gotta love free preview weekends!!!) Sucks, because a few times, I had movies recorded and our DVR box had to be replaced cause it decided to not be our friend anymore and we had to replace it, meaning that all our recordings were either erased from AT&T's end since they "shock" the system from their end, or from simply getting a new one. As soon as we connect it back and it's ready to go, I search through the menu to see if they are showing a movie that I had recorded but had not seen. But to my luck, it was either only one showing or no more free weekend preview. I lost a lot of my movies from my list when the box went haywire of Thanksgiving 4-day preview weekend. What a fucken bummer! The following are movies rated by my Daisy-girl scale of 1 Daisy-girl to 5 Daisy-girls. If you're wondering WTF is Daisy, she is my doggy. If you want to know what she looks like, there is a tiny picture of her right next to the address bar on top.

- My Week With Marilyn: It was pretty interesting. I had read about this movie before it came out in the theater. How it can be based on a book that's based on a guy who hung out with Marilyn Monroe for one week. Well guess what, it happened and it was done. Michelle Williams is cute in general. I don't know much about Marilyn Monroe, but I felt that Michelle Williams played the role pretty damn good. I'm quite sure she had gotten nominated and won a few awards. Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, and so on were good. I pointed out to the hubby, "look that one guy from Les Miserables (Eddie Redmayne) is in it and his hair is actually combed. It doesn't look as if a cow licked his head." Anyway, I would recommend this movie. I give it 4 Daisy-girls.
- The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1: Okay, first of all I'm not into this whole Twilight thing. I could care less. You won't find me at the theater waiting in long lines for hours to get into this shit-craze thing that is finally over. But seeing as I have seen the other movies in this saga (Hey...free movie weekends REMEMBER?!?!), I figured I might as well see this one. As I had explained to the hubby," I want to see the big hoopla about Kristen Stewart getting pregnant and suffering, plus I want to see when Robert WhatsHisName chews on the umbilical cord or whatever it is. I set myself up. I had my standards up WAY TOO HIGH. I was disappointed immediately. She looked anorexic except for the 'special effects" tummy she had going on, which was all fucken bruised up. Ya, I quoted "special effects", because based on the information on IMDB ( I swear by that site, it's a movie Bible to me), "There are over 1400 special effects shots in the film. Most of which were used on Kristen Stewart to achieve Bella's pregnancy appearance." Really, they couldn't have used a fake tummy?! So, ya that ruined it for me BIG TIME! In other news, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathborne still looked rather cute. My statues on this... Don't go see this movie. You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Not even worthy of Daisy.
- Felicia's Journey: I'm still somewhat on the fence about this one. Felicia's boyfriend goes to England from Ireland for a job. When they bid farewell to each other she asks him what his address is and he paused then said," I'll send it to you." First sign girly, that your boyfriend does not want to be with you. So after some time, she goes to England to look for him. Bob Hoskins (not the boyfriend) plays a manager of a catering company who watches a cooking channel, which he happened to be on when he was a kid. Somehow they cross paths and there are a lot of flashbacks of other girls in a car being recorded with a hidden camera just talking about their lives. So far, I've only seen half of it because the movie is about 2 hours and 33 minutes long. Hey man, don't get on my about not finishing a movie, I was getting hungry and the hubby made some awesome burgers! Anyway, Thing is there have been girls missing and it seems that dear ol' Bob has something to do with it. So upon meeting Felicia, he (according to my hubby) starts to stalk her (I saw it as him being friendly, as in lure her in so he can kill her later) so he can have his way with her later on. As much as I have seen up to this point, if you want to sit through a long movie that does not have big names attached to it, I would say, get your ass on the couch with some snacks and go for it. I give it 2 Daisy-girls.
- Jolene: This stars Jessica Chastain, who is riding high after winning an award for her role in Zero Dark Thirty. Her character, Jolene, is fucked in ever sense of the way her whole life. Not like porn fucked, but more as in how did this girl survive and not just end it all. She marries at the age of 15, then her husband's uncle (or something) is eyeing her as she is scrubbing the floor and grinding her body to some music, so he picks her up, says," Happy Birthday Jolene" and has sex with her. They start to have an affair but then the aunt finds out, kicks her out in her nighty and her husband finds her curled up trying to cover herself on the front porch with a plant vine. Next it shows her husband jumping off a bridge. Seeing as she is underage, she is taken to juvi or some sort of foster place, where Francis Fisher (this lady is awesome and very pretty for her age) plays a guard there and fingers Jolene. She soon helps her escape, but then Jolene leaves her too and is seen hitchhiking and turning tricks for money. She then lands somewhere where she becomes a stripper and Chazz Palminteri (my friend Cindy's fave actor) and he takes her in, but then he's shot and she leaves once again. She then works as a waitress and some guy takes interest in her. He happens to be a tattoo artist and they eventually get married, she then finds out that he has a child and is into drugs (this I know because Denise Richards is holding a baby saying that the child belongs to him... she was excellent!). She ends up trashing the tattoo parlor and taking the money she found, but left the cocaine she found on the table with the wedding ring (take the coke bitch and sell it!!!) I don't recall which story happened first, the Chazz one or the tattoo guy one, but either way it happens. She then meets Michael Vartan's character and all seems nice and fancy until they get married (his parents don't like her, they have money, she doesn't) He asks how many guys she has slept with and she tells him (kinda) he then bitch slaps her enough that he leaves a welt-like mark on her face and he is praying to God on how," it was her fault I hit her." He ends up beating the shit out of her once his parents give him info about her past. She ends up in the hospital and is soon released. She and her baby (not Denise Richards' kid) are eating somewhere and the cops come and arrest her for kidnapping (guess the hubby wanted to keep the kid). In the end, she is seen on Hollywood Blvd, with a smile on her face walking away from the camera. I guess I must have missed something somewhere. I mean were you not going to fight for your kid? How did you have the money to get to Cali, let alone L.A.? Does she not know that it's hard to find a job there? Okay, okay, here it is. If you want to see Jessica Chastain's boobies, see her suffer, hear her narrate herself, and her life span from the age of 15 (which I didn't buy into it that she looked 15) to about 30 or so, then by all means go for it. I give it 3 Daisy-girls.
Really, where does the time go?
I don't even know what to think. I mean, really, where the hell does the time go?! I know that I have not posted in quite some time, but 4 months?!?! Wow. I guess I've just been working too much and I feel tired on the weekends or time sure seems to be passing by rather quickly. I wanted to post during the 2 weeks I had off for Winter Break...but I spent the majority of it shopping. =). This sure came as a surprise to me, because I really don't care too much for shopping, especially for me. But I sure came out with some great deals. I am in love with Old Navy all over again. I had not bought or worn jeans since about elementary school. My problem is is that I am short and chubby. So either all jeans I have tried on the pant legs are too long or the thigh area is too baggy looking. So during the break, I went to Old Navy and decided, "okay, it's time to try some jeans on and see how they look and feel." As I was pulling them on, I thought, "please let them fit nice and please don't be too long." They are fine! They are a bit long, but doesn't look too bad and I'm not about to cut about 3 inches (usually pants I buy I end up cutting off about 5+ inches) off. So I walked out with 3 pairs of pants. One of the jeans are supposed to be capris, but on me, they fit perfectly in length. My hubby has never seen me wear jeans. He commented on how I look different, but good. I'm happy about that.
